A quick review: Jessica Minh Anh’s 2 year journey

Jessica Minh Anh opened J Model Management just 1 month after she graduated from University of Birmingham with an excellent MSc Marketing Communications degree in February 2009. Europe’s economy was facing a pretty tough time and she obviously knew how to ‘Focus on Beauty, not Recession’ – Insight Magazine

The official launch of J Model Management in March 2009 was a big success which marked the birth of a new representative of the young and powerful generation

Jessica put ‘Birmingham on the map’ in her following fashion show success in June 2009 

and continued the search for exceptional talents in J Models’ fashion parties and events between July and December 2009.  

In February 2010, Birmingham Mail newspaper stated that “Jessica Minh Anh is taking the Midlands’ fashion world by storm” following her phenomenal success with the very first fashion show held in the historic Birmingham Town Hall, which combined high fashion and high street. The grand show featured Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Coast, and Hobbs among many others. She showed England that the Midlands has talent!

In the interview with BBC WM in the same month, she mentioned her dedication to fashion and event management as well as her ambitious plan to expand the business. 

In June 2010, Jessica celebrated her birthday in style at Mailbox Birmingham with her friends and colleagues, dancers, and magicians!
With her rapid achievements in the industry, Jessica was invited as a judge at Miss England’s national grand final at the Hilton Hotel in August 2010 sitting alongside soap-star Ryan Thomas and owner of Tiffany Prom. 
In September 2010, she enjoyed the big game between Birmingham City Football Club and Chelsea at St. Andrews Stadium as a special guest of the home side’s owner Carson Yeung together with Miss England 2010 Jessica Linley and Miss England 2008 Laura Coleman, 
and major fashion events while wearing brand new designs right off London Fashion Week catwalks – EFU News (China).
Jessica continued to host high profile fashion parties and events in Birmingham in October and November 2010 in Birmingham’s stylish venue Nuvo.
But it was not until J Winter Fashion Show in December 2010 at one of England’s most outstanding and exceptionally crafted buildings Birmingham Council House that her name was established internationally and she appeared on various countries’ publications
Despite her strict work ethics, Jessica remains a bubbly and easy going girl backstage with her fellow models and colleagues. 
In 2010 Jessica also managed to fit in her busy schedule quite a number of editorial shots, some of which include “All dressed up” feature for House of Fraser and Selfridges in Style Birmingham magazine and "I too have a dream" feature for Japanese designer Arisa Fukumoto on 69 Magazine 
Not only concentrating on developing her own career, Jessica Minh Anh also nurtures the young generation into the industry. She has inspired many students in the UK via J Project Runway workshops teaching young girls entrepreneur skills in the fashion world, J Catwalk Training sessions teaching basic catwalk skills, and talks at various universities. 
“The inspiration and leadership given by Jessica Minh Anh get our students to think creatively out of the box, which resulted in their phenomenal development” said deputy head Mrs Dawn Casserley of St Paul’s high school. “Jessica is a true inspiration. She always showed us there was a solution to every problem and guided us through our tasks with grace and patience. We all love her very much” said Aston University student Anastasia Iordan.
In February 2011, she attended London Fashion Week as a front row VIP in various shows including Paul Costelloe, KTZ, Lou Dalton, etc and her stunning fashion style was featured on Russian Vogue and Metro newspaper UK
She celebrated her glamorous 2011’s birthday in Birmingham just two weeks before the grand J Summer Fashion Show at the celebrity destination Savoy London in June 2011. “It’s was such a lovely evening as I was among my closest friends” said Jessica.
The international success of J Summer Fashion Show put Jessica and J Model Management right at the top of the high fashion world. The latest collections from British fashion leader Paul Costelloe, London Fashion Week brand Jaeger, Dutch celebrity designer Addy van den Krommenacker, New York Fashion Week designer Charlotte Sparre, German sensation Gregor Clements, and Berlin Fashion Week brand Maicco among many others were showcased in the famous Lancaster Ball room.
Jessica revisited London Fashion Week in September 2011 in the stunning AW Collection of Greek designer Ioannis Dimitrousis
Jessica Minh Anh made history on 19 October 2011 with the grand J Autumn Fashion Show on England’s iconic Tower Bridge (Drapers magazine Nov 2011), which captured the world’s attention and was covered by TV channels like ITV (UK), CNC (China), RTE (Ireland), IMEDI (Georgia), and RTL (Netherlands) among many other international publications. The show featured 15 top collections from 5 continents and welcomed celebrity designers, brand managers, country ambassadors, and directors of the Olympics London 2012 just to name a few.
